1986 Holden Berlina (2002-2004) The VL was my first car. My Dad bought it for me while I was still on my Ls so that I could learn to drive in it and also do some work on it before I got my Ps. The initial work was mainly overdue maintenance. This work consisted of: Swapping the standard steel wheels for VN (I think) Berlina wheels. Cutting some new carpet for the boot. Replacing a pretty average racing steering wheel with a standard Calais wheel. Replacing some sections of dashboard that were broken. Replaced rear parcel shelf. Fixing the air-conditioning controls and installed a new vacuum reservoir. Replaced rear suspension bushes. Replaced all 4 shocks. Replaced rear springs. Further down the track I decided to modify the car, albeit, only modestly, you can't have a Commo and not lower it... The mods were: Lowered king springs. A new stereo.
1983 BMW 318i (2004-2006) Bought stock, Converted to twin Carburettors (Dellorto), then swapped to 1.8L EFI Twin Cam (M42)
1987 Toyota Celica GT-Four (2006-2008) Bought stock. Added Exhaust.
1989 Nissan 180sx (2008-2014) Bought stock.
1987 Toyota MR2 (2014-2015) Bought Stock. No modifications made.
1998 Lotus Elise (2014-TBD) Bought with what appears to be a "Sport 160" conversion i.e. engine tuned to 160HP (Bell and Colville), Sport 160 suspension,
